[Document USSR-507, 402-PS]

Government of the General Government.

Department of Internal Administration, Population Welfare Department - Krakow.

Hand over to Senior Administrative Adviser Weirauh.

In the event that it will no longer be possible to reach Mr. Weyrauch by phone at number 15200, I ask you to transfer it to his personal number 11200.

General Manager Hartmann has just sent me the following telegram from the Presidium of the German Red Cross through the Ministry of Propaganda:

“Very urgent - immediately report - immediately by telephone to Mr. Heinrich Government of Warsaw, Department of Population and Welfare.

The telegram of the Polish Red Cross to Geneva must be delayed, and this event and other similar events - until the receipt of authority. On all related issues, keep in touch with the overseas department. Communication has been established with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the telegram of the Polish Red Cross. For the further conduct of the case, maintain contact with the office of the Commissioner, Krakow, with which communication has already been established. German Red Cross, foreign department. General Manager Hartmann.

What to do? The telegram could have been delayed while still in Berlin. In my opinion, the intervention of the German Red Cross is not justified. Ch. ex. propaganda, Krakow, Dr. Steinmetz also received a telegram from the propaganda telegraph. Please contact him immediately. I'm waiting for new instructions.

Signed: Heinrich.
