The plenum of the Central Coinmittee of the CPSU(B), with the participation of members of the Presidium of the Central Control Commission, elects J. V. Stalin to the Political Bureau, Organizing Bureau and Secretariat of the Central Committee, and appoints him General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU(B).
