Comrades workers! Our party is going through a financial crisis. The defeat of Pravda and its printing house is still evident.
The breakdown of printing machines and damage to auxiliary materials, the loss of over 70 pounds of type and the inability to work in the printing house for a month, repairs and new expenses - all this took from the party more than 100 thousand rubles.
After a well-known break, the central organ of the party was restored. But the production of the organ led to new one-time costs. Meanwhile, the newspaper has not yet managed to get stronger and is not yet paying for itself.
After a forced month-long silence, it is necessary to redouble the work of agitation and propaganda, the publication of brochures, leaflets, etc. This is especially necessary now, before the elections to the Constituent Assembly, when the hundred-strong bourgeois press throws slander and lies at cities and villages. But this requires funds, but they are not.
The party, having spent all its cash, lives on debts that are growing day by day.
We are faced with a question: either to cut down and liquidate some very important Party enterprises, or to get 100,000 rubles in one week for urgent needs, for strengthening and expanding the printing business.
We are deeply convinced that you will not allow the liquidation of some of our Party enterprises, to the delight of the sworn enemies of the Party of the proletariat.
Therefore, we appeal to you with an appeal:
Get 100 thousand rubles in one week for the needs of Proletary!
Comrades! Three months ago, when we turned to you for support for purchasing a printing house, you managed to collect more than 100 thousand in a few days! Now manage to collect 100 thousand in one week!
Show your enemies that at a time when the bourgeois hyenas are trying to slander and slander your party, and your leaders are being persecuted and arrested, you know how to support your proletarian party!
Follow the example of the Putilov comrades and arrange one-day training camps.
Let every member of the Party, let every Party cell take up, without delay, the organization of the meetings.
In every factory, in every factory, there should be a collection!
