F. E. Dzerzhinsky - I. I. Reingold

June 12, 1924

T. Reingold.

Dear comrade! I beg your pardon if, in the heat of the controversy, I allowed myself to say too much, but I did not intend to offend you, nor to discredit you, since I consider you an excellent worker, which does not mean at all that I must be with you in everything as to agree as a defender of the interests of the treasury, all the more so since this protection is one-sided for you. My personal opinion is that your work in production would be very desirable and more desirable than in NKFin - of course, only my opinion and not even a proposal. No one will remove you from the NKFin and, of course, will not accept your resignation. Please don't get angry.

With comradely greetings.

F. Dzerzhinsky.
